Hi, I’m Randy “N0M4D” Fitzgerald, lead designer of Meta Valley.
It’s been an honor and privilege to work on this project with such an amazing team. Huge shoutout to Harjot (Harry) Singh, our lead programmer, and Ismael “Smiley” Guzman, our lead artist.

As a quadriplegic, I also want to thank Chase McDermott for being my “hands” and helping me navigate the VR space. This project really boosted my confidence as a designer — I’ve often questioned if I was good enough, but what we achieved together proves how incredible my team truly is. We followed our vision all the way through, and being among the Top 3 is something we’re deeply proud of.

Meta Valley is our take on a Wild West adventure. You’re trapped in a small western town after a landslide blocks your way out. The only way to escape is to buy dynamite from Joe’s General Store, but Joe’s got other plans — he’s using the crisis to get filthy rich.

To earn the money you need, play one of the five mini games scattered throughout the valley. Your progress, cash, and items are saved, so you can pick up right where you left off.

There are two leaderboards:
• Players closest to buying the dynamite.
• Players who’ve escaped — our Legendary Leaderboard.

We didn’t just want mini games; we wanted a living world with purpose. Rosie’s Saloon is the social hub where players meet and relax.

We’ve also built two special venues:
• The Church, perfect for VR weddings. Chase and I are both ordained ministers, and it’d be an honor to host your ceremony.
• The Main Stage, home to live concerts, events, and more. (ZZ Top, call us!)

The valley’s mini games — Horseshoes, Bank Heist, Most Wanted, Quick Draw, and Word-It! — were designed for all players, no matter their physical ability. Most Wanted and Quick Draw bring fast-paced action, while others focus on inclusion and accessibility.

This project means the world to me. What started as a simple idea became proof of what passion, teamwork, and determination can create — no matter the challenge.
